● Puja Vidhan –
● First light a lamp of ghee and keep it to your right. Now purify yourself by taking a little water and sprinkling it over yourself. While margining, feel in your mind that ‘he who remembers God is pure in all states from within and outside.
● Now take some water in your palm fingers and drink it three times. Say the following mantra while drinking water-
[Hav Keshvay Nam :, aya Madhavaya Nam:, ayan Narayanay Nam:. Followed by ‘Om Govinday Namah:]
● Now add turmeric to them with a little syrup in your hand and invite Lord Shri Ganesha to your home, meditating on his appearance. For the call, chant this in your mind – ‘Oh my God, I am inviting you to my house. You come to my house with perfection and knowledge ‘. After that, offer yellow rice in your hand and say ‘Om Shri Ganeshay Namah’ and offer it in front of the idol of Ganesh.
● Now Lord Shri Ganesha has come to your house, after that you have to feed the feet of Lord Ganesha, for which you get the idea that ‘I am feeding Lord Gods of Lord Ganesha’ dedication of Lord Shri Ganesha
● Now you have to give posture to please Lord Shri Ganesha. Whichever place you have set for this, install the idol of God by placing it on the back, while the feeling arises in your mind that ‘I give posture to Lord Ganesha to sit’
● Now worship the lamp with the help of hand, offer Akshat and flowers in front of the lamp, then offer water, Akshat and flowers in hand and offer them to Mother Earth.
● Now fill water in the urn, mix turmeric, silver coin and sarsoudhi in it and wrap it in red cloth in a red fruit and wrap it in mango leaves. Now, taking flowers and Akshat in your hand, meditating on the God of Varuna, feel that “all the pilgrimage and holy rivers are getting water in this Kalash” and then offer it in hand with Akshata and Flower Kalash.
● Now the moving deity of Lord Ganesha, who is of brass, place Durva in the consecration letter and bathe Lord Ganesha with pure water, then bathe Lord with panchamrit. After that, offer milk of Lord Ganesha with the text of ‘Ash Earthvirsha’.
● After the consecration of Lord Shri Ganesha, bathe them again in pure water, and decorate them with beautiful clothes and ornaments.
● Now apply vermilion to Lord Ganesha and offer flowers and garlands.
● Now offer lord modak by offering durva to Lord Ganesha, after some time give water to God to drink. Finally, enjoy the fruit.
● Now perform the aarti of Lord Shri Ganesha and offer clothes to Lord Ganesha and worship him by keeping the Shreephal, Durva and Yatsamarthya Dakshina in his hand. Finally, leave a little water on the ground under your seat and apply it with both your eyes and worship.
