धर्म क्या है

● If you will read about religion in the texts of Sanatan Dharma, then there are many definitions of religion. After reading those definitions, people wonder whether religion is the religion. The wise people call generosity only religion, the learned people consider the punishment as religion. Truth is religion, truth is tenacity and truth is yoga. Men who are engaged in the interest of all beings have called charity a religion. Such a definition is also in other texts. Therefore, know what the meaning of the word dharma is

● Meaning of the word Dharma –

• Religion means to wear. One who is capable of wearing, should wear it. The religious leaders said that truth, forgiveness, learning, kindness, charity, etc.

● What is religion –

• The one who is capable of wearing it is called Dharma. That is why in the Mahabharata, to be engaged in karma, generosity, punishment, truth, charity is religion, it means that it is worth holding, so this religion should be practiced.

• In the texts of Sanatan Dharma, it has been said about religion that it is religion, it is unrighteous and man should follow religion. The language is that it is worthy to be molded, it is not fit to hold, and a human being should hold it and follow it. It is religion to engage in karma. That is, persistence in karma is worth holding, generosity is religion. Truth is religion. Truth is worthy of holding mercy is religion. Mercy is worthy of bearing. You should consider untruth, anger, illiteracy, cruelty as religion. By doing this, the bad days of truth and whole society will start. Because then no one will help anyone, will always lie, will not study, that is, become ignorant, due to which ignorance will spread in the society, people will become violent. The texts told the religions that are worthy of wearing and that can lead to the advancement of self and society. Talk of religions like Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Jain or Yuddha etc. So it is not just religion but community or community only.

● Types of religion –

• Dharma means to hold the first soul and second body to hold. We are souls, but this soul needs a body to do deeds. So the soul and the body are two, so there are two types of religions. The mind itself is the main reason for the bonding and salvation of all human beings. The mind has to be wearing two types of religions, we have to wear two things. One for the soul and one for the body. For this reason, two types of religions are described in the Vedas for the soul, for the body. Now they have been told by different names in different ways.

● For the soul –

• The religion of the soul is – to imbibe the divine. Only God is fit for the soul. Because God, soul and maya are these three elements, out of which soul is part of God and not Maya. You have asked this very beautiful question for the welfare of the whole world, because this question is in relation to Shri Krishna and this leads to good self-purification. The best religion for human beings is the one who has devotion in Lord Shri Krishna, so that there is no devotion, in which there is no desire and which will remain constant. With such devotion, the heart becomes gratified by attaining divine happiness. It is the religion of the soul to imbibe God. And this is the religion of the soul, it is a continual religion, that is, to keep perpetually, that is, at any time, do not abandon the religion of the soul, to worship God, in which there is no desire, and that worship should be continual – continuous. Religion does not change because the soul is not changeable. Everyone should do devotion, irrespective of the stage.

● For the body –

• The body is the religion – to wear Maya is only for the body to hold Maya because God, soul and Maya are the three elements, out of which the body is part of the world i.e. body is made of Maya with five elements. Now this body lives in the world, so let the world run well, what body to wear for that, you know in the name of Varnashrama Dharma. Varnashrama Dharma Varna “Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Paishyas and Shudras”, and Ashrams – Brahmacharya, Grihastha, Panaprastha and Sannyas These are the four Ashramas. Pay attention – this body is variable, so all religions of the body are variable.

• This body is made of Panchatatya (sky, earth, water, fire, wind, punch, body), so this body needs Panchatatya. The body needs all the space in our body, then solid matter like metals like metals (iron), then water, To keep the body warm, then air. All of this is to keep our body as long as there is life. Only then the body will be able to run properly. Therefore, our diet should also be religious, that is, to wear yoga, otherwise by consuming unrighteous food, this body will not function properly. Just as Varnashrama Dharma is changeable, similarly what we eat is also changeable.

● What is our religion –

• We are souls, not bodies. Therefore, our main religion is that of the soul, which is devotion (worship). But, to do devotion, a healthy body and a society suited to devotion is needed. Therefore, the Varnashram Dharma is also followed properly and only then it is a good
Society will be able to become, but to do devotion, a healthy body and a society suited to devotion is needed. So Varnashrama Dharma, which is the religion of the body, is changeable like grihastha after celibacy, remembrance of vanaprastha and sannyas after vanaprastha. They keep changing. However, the conversion of the soul is not modesty, because the religion of the soul has to be practiced in the four ashrams of Brahmacharya, Grihastha, Vanaprastha and Sannyas.
